The goal of making data entry quick and efficient can be achieved by using a Lookup field that allows Intelex users to select from a simple list of pre-determined values. This results in data that is easy to analyze and compare. A relation might look and feel like a lookup to the front-end user but allows for a more complex relationship to be formed in the System. The result is an object field that allows users to select and capture data that is stored in another object in the system. In a fast-changing world, it is paramount to data integrity that the options we give our users align with what they need and that values that are no longer required be removed so they are not selected in error. This interactive session will provide the necessary skills to create and maintain lookup fields and values, along with introducing the basics of Relation Type fields.
